Mid-week Updates

Some updates:

1) James has taken to water like a fish. I'm hoping to get him in the pool a lot this summer and build up that confidence. As it is he is trying to dunk his head and kicks his feet real hard!
2) James has learned how to roll down hills, thanks to his god-mommy. I haven't seen this yet but apparently he will lie down on a hill and proceed to roll down.
3) James LOVES Slides. Big ones, small one. Not always very graceful but ready to go. With help, without. The squeals of glee as he goes down is hilarious.
4) Last night James played peek-a-boo with Grams at the dinner table. He initiated it by ducking his head down below the table...it was quite funny.
5) We are getting the hang of food....for the most part. Teaching James to give us the food when he is done rather then throwing and just in general making dinner more fun. D set us up on the floor the other night and we had a picnic in our living room. James really enjoyed it!

I hope to have some more pictures up soon but for now, imagine a very energetic child running, climbing, squealing with glee as he masters new things. Consciously taking everything we say and trying his best to reciprocate an answer by words or actions. He is simply amazing

Oh, newest words: Wow, Pool, Mom (this one is actually said to get my attention. precious.)
