Crazy Week

This past week has been busy, and yet not busy. Lot's of fun stuff including some Christmas shopping, lol, yes I know it is September but one of my close friends wanted company so I went and began to get ideas and think about financing...money is going to be real tight this year.

About to go down a big slide all by himself. He's become much more couragous on this aspect. Ladders is the other thing...likes to tackle ladders and scare the heck out of mom. What if he were to slip? Oie. For now I can catch him, eventually he will be just fine and I will stop worrying. We also learned how to skateboard with Uncle Chris:

Then we went shopping at BJ's and brought Tigger along for the ride:

We played with blocks until we realized Shrek was on then lost all interest...

Played on a rocking horse too...legs are long enough to rock himself :)

More of James and buddy from Sunday

The two of them attempted to share this car, as much as two toddlers can I suppose. It was funny to watch the two of them play. I only wish I'd been able to spend more time with them. I was running around making sure all was alright all over the place...thankfully, there were lots of babysitters.

I'd love to know what they are saying to each other. I love the movie Baby Genius' and sometimes wonder if our babies are genius' and are having these amazing conversations with eachother. I hear at the age of 2 a child will change(not for good or bad, just change)....hmm.

Sequence of events

Attempts to take a picture of mommys and babes....babes who did not want to be involved at a photo shoot. It was early evening, the boys had been playing in grass, water, playing music, eating good food and just in general having fun. They did not want to sit still :)

Luke turned 1 today...though I coulda sworn it was the 26th...Sorry Luke!

Anyone want to see my Old MacDonald Farm?

Luke is the last of our group to turn one. D and I met these moms and dad 15 months ago on a bleary friday night. We gathered to hear a lady talk about birth...and what that might actually mean to us. It was the best 11 weeks I could have spent preparing for James and I reccomend it! Bradley Birthing Classes....you'll get more then just a lesson on what kinds of pain medications are out there for giving birth and you might even make a few friends :)

Bradley Fun

This past sunday we got together with some very cool people. We met them in a class a year ago that prepared us for labor and classes. Little did we know they would become lasting friends. I guess living through 12 or so friday nights together talking about some very intimate stuff can create bonds :) Besides, our boys (all falling in a month period) have become fast friends and love learning from eachother.


Here you see James with one of his buddies. Couldn't tell you what they were looking at but they were very intent on it.

toppers (guac, salsa, mango salsa, yum!)
