I never thought I would be one of those people who is satisfied spending their weekend working around the house. I suppose having tons of family and friends over to help is a plus...but last night D and I felt real accomplished after taming some un-ruly bushes with some clippers. And they were mean sticker bushes too...but I think we lopped off most of the stickers :)
It was just....satisfying. No other word for it. Hmmm, home ownership, maybe it is for me.
