Day 2.....no I won't write every day about the move

but, it was a goofy day. There was an incident with a red drink but thank goodness we had the carpet cleaner still handy :) The dining room, hallway, and about half the living room are 100 times better then they were. A little Oxi-cean and a lot of elbow grease and most of the yuck is gone :)

So we put down some sheets on the barely damp floor(huzzah for Rug Doctor!), set a fan a blowing to help with the drying process, and started loading up the front room. We put our two boxes in there, (the other 5 are our fragile glassware we are moving ourselves and are already in a staging area of their own), the table (broken down), and chairs.....

Found a new home for the sofa bed. It was easier getting it out then it had been to get it in....oh well. It has a happy new home now. We moved the futon down from the guests bedroom/office and then began to pack up that room. hmmm

We are passing along a few baby things to friends which will help some but the office/guest room is full of all the stuff we couldn't find a place for at this apartment. Sooo, going through those boxes, reboxing, cataloging....its going to be the hardest room. Everywhere else is pretty simple so we want to tackle this one first. We got 2.5 boxes packed before losing it. We were both tired, James was running around under foot, and well....we felt we had gotten enough done.

Took showers, met up with friends for dinner, then came home and collapsed. Well, we both read for a little while, and so did James before wanting to go to his own bed to sleep :) Such a cutie.

So, Day 2 went well. More on moving later, some on the house sooner, and always stuff about James.

D: "Put him on the carpet"
Kat: " He has pee on his feet"
D: "I'm going to clean the carpet!"

Let's just say...you had to be there.... :)
