So James was in the backseat of the car this morning(on the way to nana's) mumbling "ab, aba, abo, aba, abajo...."
When asked what he was saying he says 'abajo'.
"what does that mean James?" we ask him
"up" he says back to us
"Ok James" I say to him
"I think that's Spanish?" I say to Dan
"Our 2 year old is teaching us Spanish?" Dan says
"apparently" I say
Turns out abajo means 'down' but for a 2.5 y/o, close enough I say. Dora and Diego....who da thunk?

Children's capacity for language at that age is astounding, isn't it? Who knows...maybe he'll grow up to be a language maven. :)
