Being a home owner can suck. You really got to stay on top of things but on the bright side it is our house to do with what we want right?
Sigh, having an insurance agent come out too inspect some damage that may be a result of the earthquake a year ago or possibly more recent storms. I didn't notice the damage. With all the emotional drama with the boys and myself the house is kinda low on my list but my husband reminded me recently that that is not a good thing. We don't need to be constantly upgrading or improving BUT we do need to upkeep ...
There is a difference.
Don't know if i have mentioned this too many but we have been considering housing options. If we should remodel what we have (add space) or move. So ... yea, this is a toughie.
Remodeling would be fun (we Really Need more then one bathroom) but costly and how would we go about it? Add a floor? Finish basement? Something else?
As for moving, the kids are still young enough to adjust to schools i guess ... but we finally met our neighbors who have kids our kids ages! I'm starting to reach out to other moms, make roots ... being stay at home has had that effect on me. Besides, we would barely break even on the house.
It's been on our minds since i got pregnant with Q ... nearly 2 years now. I've learned not to jump at changes. I am very hesitant in almost everything i do ..
Anywho. We'll see what insurance says, if they can even do anything, and go from there. As for a second bathroom? Two years tops!
