So Nathan has been crawling since Thanksgiving (well before James) and is now very interested in trying to walk. His balance is amazing and he stands not holding onto anything for periods of time. He is also mastering the slow lowering of his body from standing to sitting and vice versa.
It never ceases to amaze how strong my children are. Simply amazing. James surprised me everyday with things he could do and still does. We're actually debating whether to put him in gymnastics or karate since he will be 3 soon, potty trained (which he did almost all by himself), and has an excess of energy...not to mention his very strong desire to "go to school" that he talks about everyday!
So, Nathan has taken a few steps now on his own and it would not surprise me to see him walking on his own in the next month. He will take my hand and walk effortlessly (very little hold on my hand) around our house taking me with him chattering all the way. I think he is giving me a tour of how he sees things and it is adorable. Before I know it he will be a walking talking toddler chasing around with his brother....
time does go so very fast.
